We have provided affordable studio spaces for over 20 years in different buildings across East & North London. Our latest home is Unit 58. Over the years we have had dozens of emerging and major artistic talents such as Gabriel Prokofiev, The Bug, Roll Deep, Emeli Sandé , Attica Blues, Foreign Beggars and Jungle Brothers. Emeli Sande wrote her debut award winning album in our first studios in Hackney. Our residents create music for acclaimed TV and films as well as commercially released recordings, spanning contemporary classical, jazz, grime, hip-hop, highlife, folk, and a myriad of other genres. Gabriel Prokofiev described our director John O’Farrell as a “truly dedicated supporter of the London music scene... providing a very open and nurturing platform”. Resident musician Camilla Fuchs described Unit58 as “a great place to work, socialise and meet others in the industry.” The unique combination of this artistic offer, provided to a consistently high standard to artists and audiences alike, cannot easily be replicated. Finding and securing spaces like Unit 58, negotiating viable leases and carrying out the renovation and recreation, requires rare expertise that our directors have proven they have.
